The Highland Plantation Property Owners Association exists to help maintain the common grounds of the subdivision and to help foster the building of local, neighborhood relationships.
Our neighborhood was first established in June 1994. It is located between the 144-acre BREC Highland Road Community Park and the intersection of Highland Road and Seigen/Burbank. We're located 2 miles from the Seigen/I-10 and 3.4 miles to the Mall of Louisiana, and about 4.4 miles from the Highland/I-10.
Located within Highland Plantation are 96 homes with no fewer than 2,200 sq feet each and a variety of architectural styles represented. All homes have a minimum two car covered parking, most with driveways to a rear garage and some with the driveway to a garage towards the front of the home. The majority of lots are just under 1/4 of an acre.

Maintenance of brick structures including gas lanterns at front of neighborhood.
Helping to maintain or increase property values by requiring high quality roofing materials be used, exterior homes conditions are maintained and exterior paint colors blend well together all across our community
Participation in community focused organizations such as greater Baton Rouge Federation of Civic Associations.
Coordination of events like the Holiday luminaries and other social events.
Host website to showcase the great parts of our neighborhood to attract potential buyers when the current owners are ready to sell.
