Yes, HPPOA has an agreement with Flock Security to run and maintain a video camera system specifically for our neighborhood. It was installed in the spring of 2021. There have been three known issues in which the content that the video system captured was used to solve crimes and make an arrest of a break-in at a home on Plantation Ridge Dr, items stolen from a vehicle in front of a home on Plantation Crest and two vehicles stolen from a home on Plantation Ridge Ave, all of which occurred in the summer of 2021. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff Department has access to our camera system and they're very adept in navigating it as Flock Security runs and maintains other camera systems that EBR Sherriff Dept has access to. The simple presence of the camera system has potentially stopped numerous other intruders .
